All flamingo chicks are white or grey. the caribbean is a deep pink or red. it lives in caribbean coasts. The Lesser flamingo is the smallest flamingo. Its pinker than the greater flaming. It lives in East Africa. The Greater Flamingo live in large groups. They feed by holding their heads upside-down and sifting water through their bills. they live in Asia.

Many people moved to the United States for a better life. They didn’t care leaving their homes because there was nothing there. A lot of African American people wanted to leave the South. So they went North. This movement is called The Great Migration. The South was difficult for many African Americans after the civil war ended. They were discriminated against where ever they went. They had to sit in the back of the bus.
I think people should have been nicer to African Americans. They should of let them sit in the front of the bus.
I was surprised that no one said anything about the discrimination.

Students are now downloading formulas onto digital media players. Some students say bans ineffective as cheaters will find another way. Duke University provides iPods to help students in courses. Using the devices to cheat is hardly a new phenomenon. Some students use iPod-compatible voice recorders to record test answers in advance and them play them back. The White House and congressional Democrats are at odds over a war funding bill that sets dates for pulling troops out of Iraq. President Bush has already said he'll veto any bill that includes that kind of deadline. Russians paid tribute throughout the week to former leader Boris Yeltsin, who died on Monday of sudden heart failure, according to Russian medical officials. At least 10 people were killed -- seven in Texas and three in Mexico, when a powerful tornado swept through the region on Tuesday evening. I thought that this video was interesting.

Chicken Soup for the Pet lovers Soul
"Toto's last Christmas"

Today I read a story about a cat named Toto. This cat was really sick and its owner had dropped him off so the vet could take care of it.The owner feared the cat wouldn't greet her in the New Year and the day after she dropped the cat the vet warned her that the cat the was failing. So the vet went home with the cat and she had two cats of her own so her own cats didn't like new comers because they think they are going to take their territory. These two cats didn't mind the new comer because this cat was really sick and didn't have much time left.On New Year's eve the owner and her husband, Jordan were making dinner and the cats smelled the food cooking so they came into the kitchen. Then they were around the basket in which the sick cat layed and started sniffing and one cat started rubbing the basket and the sick cat purred. The vet and Jordan watched in amazement as the cats were welcoming the sick cat because they've never welcomed anybody before. After that the vet put one hand under the sick cat and felt as the cat's heart was weaking, so she started crying.Later that night she called the owner and told what had happened and she also told her that the cat didn't die alone because everybody was there including her own cats so they could say their last goodby's.
