Children were marching with signs that said “don’t deport my parents”
Advocates for tougher border security say the current law makes sense. Illegal border crossers should be sent back, even if they've had children here.
The lawmakers say that if the parents break laws they should be deported.
Men are going to prison for life after being found guilty of plotting bomb attacks.
The case also revealed information about men who weren't caught and it's raising concerns about British intelligence.
The Home Secretary has said the UK government plans to double the size of the British Security Service by next year.
She says that the 52 innocent people could have been saved.
Lower courts had ruled that the driver could sue the officer.
I don’t know how I would rule this case.
Yes, because dudes are not that gravy when it comes to escaping in whips.

2. Why do some immigration reform advocates support the law addressed in the program? *Because they feel as if it is the parents fault, and believe if they really wanted to be with their family they would stay in their hometown.*
3. Do you think that the children's protest might sway lawmakers' views on immigration reform? Why or why not? *No. because, they seem to not really care, sense the fact that they broke a law by coming into a country illegally.*
4. For what criminal act were five British men sentenced to life in prison on Monday? *Five terrorist were found guilty plotting bombs on UK soil.*
5. According to the segment, what concerns about British intelligence has this trial raised? *That many are very smart and may try to invent a huge bomb that could destroy most of Britain.*

6. How have British officials responded to these concerns? *They were heartbroken and shocked to hear that someone would want to kill lots of people, injure others, and leave others traumatized without really caring.*
7. How does bombing survivor Rachael North feel about the perceived breakdown in British intelligence? *Very heartbroken to hear that there are some real coldhearted people who just want to see others hurt.*
8. What ruling did the U.S. Supreme Court recently make on a case involving a police chase in Georgia? *The driver could sew the officer, but no it was mostly the drivers fault.*
9. If you sat on the Supreme Court, how would you have ruled in this case, and why? *I would have the driver pay a huge fine after all it was his fault for the accident and trying to out run the police.*
10. Do you think that there should be a national policy that states when police should engage in a car chase? Why or why not? *Yes. Because a police chase could cause a huge accident and may leave others that have nothing to do with it injured.*

1. According to the segment, why did hundreds of children participate in a demonstration march in Los Angeles on Sunday? To prevent their parents from being departed.
2. Why do some immigration reform advocates support the law addressed in the program? If the parents are coming to America illegally they should be sent home, even if they gave birth in America.
3. Do you think that the children's protest might sway lawmakers' views on immigration reform? Why or why not? I doubt it, most law makers don’t have any idea of how it feels to be separated from their families. If they don’t know what it feels like, their opinions would most likely remain the same.
4. For what criminal act were five British men sentenced to life in prison on Monday? They were terrorists that had plotted bomb attacks. They were planning a massive attack in soil.
5. According to the segment, what concerns about British intelligence has this trial raised? Two Arabian terrorists were found to have been involved in the planning of the attacks. They were tracking thirty plots, British security is now raising their standards.
6. How have British officials responded to these concerns? They are now resulting to raising their security standards.
7. How does bombing survivor Rachael North feel about the perceived breakdown in British intelligence? She feels threatened and unsure of what could possibly happen again if British security is not on high alert.
8. What ruling did the U.S. Supreme Court recently make on a case involving a police chase in Georgia? The Supreme court was unsure that the police officer might be guilty but in the end the driver was found guilty for causing serious harm to the people on the road.
9. If you sat on the Supreme Court, how would you have ruled in this case, and why? I would have decided that the driver was guilty for not following the procedures because I feel he put everyone else’s life in danger as well.
10. Do you think that there should be a national policy that states when police should engage in a car chase? Why or why not? Yes, because if police know they are allowed to hit cars in order to get them to stop the vehicle it could possibly cause serious damage to everyone around the scene at the time.

Title: The Great Migration
Section: Leaving the South
In this story there were millions of African Americans wanting to leave the South. From 1915 to 1930 thousands of African American had migrated, from the hard times that they had after the fact of the civil war ended in 1865 and slavery. Freedom was called to very few Africans and some they had to take it step by step. The Africans wanted to be able to making a good living out of life and get to spend their time with their children that they hadn’t seen for years. The thing I learned in this story was that the African Americans were people who wanted to look for freedom not slave their way into it, as for some they had took it step by step. Also the thing I liked was they did find their freedom and that they finally got to be with there family.

1.The children marched because some of their parents were being deported because they weren’t born in the U.S. but their kids were.
2.They feel that if the parent was not born here they should be deported, they think it is fair.
3.I don’t think the protests will change their view at all because they think it is a good thing that these children's parents are being sent away.
4.The five British men are being sentenced because they were plotting on terrorizing them.
in the U.K.
5.The information that raised concern was info that was given about the men who weren’t caught .
6.They have responded by doubling the British security and tracked down 30 plots with 300 cells
7.She feels bad because some guys were taped and recorded but let go and then they ended up killing a lot of people.
8.The ruling the Supreme Court made was that the guy had no reason to sue the officers for ramming him.
9.I would have let the guy sue the officers for ramming his car, just so the cops feel what it’s like to be on the wrong side
10.No I don’t think there should be a policy because if a car is putting everybody’s life in danger there has to be someway of stopping
