Title: Valley Of The Golden Mummies
Picture description:
Summary: This book is about a man who thought that he was going to be a lawyer, but decided to be a archaeology. He wanted to learn about ancient things that were in the ground. He was elected president of the student union and spent much of his time in social activities. He he completed his studies he enjoy the antiques department in Cairo in 1968.The head of the department became best friends with him so he chose him to be a Antique inspector at tuna el-Gebel. He like his job but, he did not like staying in the middle of no where. so he decided to quit his job and become a diplomat. For about six month he studied politics and economics so that he could join the ministry of foreign affairs. What I think about this man is that he tried so hard to become a mummy inspector.

In the book, Lizards, there are many colorful pictures of lizards. I also saw that they have lots of different kinds of reptiles. A chameleon can change its colors. It does that for different reasons. The first reason it does that is to hide from predators. The second reason it does that is so it can blend into his surroundings and catch its prey. It catches its prey by taking out his long tongue. Crickets are many captive lizards’ diets.
I like lizards a lot. I used to have an Iguana.
I really found the chameleons really interesting.

*Tales from Ancient Greece
There are plenty of pictures. Some are about oceans and sea monsters. There are also pictures about Poseidon. Animals and humans are all hugged up in the book. In this book, there are little stories that are about three pages long, each. Zeus was worried about little things. He was very worried about pomegranate seeds. There's also a story about a flying horse and a dude named Bellerophon is the guy who wants to capture it. The flying horse was named Pegasus. Bellerophon and Pegasus had to defeat a three headed monster named Chimera. I thought these stories were pretty interesting. I have heard about some of these stories in the past. One interesting thing is that there are lots of little stories in one book.

The book that I’m reading for this morning is called “chicken soup for the soul” and the section that I decide to read was on love. The story is called “one at a time”. Which it about this girls that are walking on the beach and they see a men. One of the girls decide to ask him what was he doing he said throwing the starfish back in the ocean to help those fish to not died. But she told him back that was the different if there was a lot of beaches on the world and a lot of fishes were going to died. All he said was that he likes to help and that she is suppose to do it too. There's no pictures on this book. What I learned is that is good to help the nature like that men. That’s is good that some people still care for the animals that’s are dieing.

Wild Animals:
In this book I see a lot of pictures of different animals. I can see a gorilla, chimpanzee to a buffalo, goose and many other animals. By reading this book I learned that there are many different ways of measuring a particullar animal. I also learned that you can be aware of what an animal eats by the shape and size of it's teeth. The colour and size of an animal can sometimes help you identify the ses and age of it. I learned that lions live in large groups called "prides". Most of the time they rest. Females are the ones that do most of the hunting. I also learned that females have no mane. The tiger lives alone and it is the largest cat. The cheeta is very fast. It can reach speed of 110 kph. The Cubs have a silver mane down their backs. I like this book it teaches a lot about differen types of animals. What i found the most interesting was Golden Pheasant lose their feathers after mating season.

♥1001 Facts About The Human Body
♥There are pictures of every piece of the human’s body.
♥Throughout the section I read, I learned about health, fitness, nutrition, and diet. Regular exercise will help to keep you fit and healthy. As long as you are exercising at least 20-30 minutes three times per week. This lowers one risk of becoming overweight and suffering from high blood pressure. Also, from suffering from a stroke, or coronary heart disease. Ideally, you should get some kind of exercise every day.
♥One interesting fact is that women burn 695 calories per hour running and men can burn 810 calories per hour.

I am reading the book of Our Lady of Guadalupe; Faith and Empowerment among Mexican-American Women. It is talking, in the first couple of pages, about how there came to be Mexicans. The Spaniards came to modern-day Mexico and they raped most Indian women and started the mestizaje. They are also talking about how Tenochtitlan is known as modern day Mexico City. By 1519 there were millions of people under the Aztec rule and they spoke a variety of languages. Nahuatl people are Indians.
I think that it was a good thing that it happened. I'm not glad that it happened the way it did but i’m happy that it all happened because I’m a proud Mexican.
I didn’t know that the Spaniard and the Indians had physical touch “rape”, to make Mexicans.
