I didn’t even know that a sun bear even existed. They are a tropical bear. They require a lot of warmth. It nests in trees. It laps up termites with its long tongue. The sun bear especially loves wild honey. There is a species called the red panda. It is related to raccoons. It eats bamboo like like the giant panda. They are very rare but if you want to look for one, they will be in the Himalayas. There are also wild cats. They look like domestic cats but they are larger and stronger. They are very dangerous and they can kill somebody. There are a lot of species of wild cats. The snow leopard when it is cold, it wraps its long tail around its body to keep itself warm.
There are a lot of species of animals that I have never seen. There are a lot of cat species too.

"Graduation Day"
In this story, a woman is having a hard time watching her daughter grow up and go to school for the first time. She never had a problem with watching her other daughter going to school. Shes most likely more sensetive to the youngest daughter going to school because she had been diagnosed with a rare disease. She is worried about something happening to her daughter. She wants to make sure her daughter is safe at all times, and she knows that she cannot watch her daughter everyday at school. In the end, her daughter is going to walk to school with her older sister and wants to do it without her mothers help. As the two little girls walk out the door, the mom finally realizes that her daughter will be okay and needs to trust the moment. I learned that you need to let people grow and become independant, because if you don't they'll depend on you when you can no longer help.
Book Title: Chicken Soup for the Soul
Today I read a short passage called “ Who You Are Makes A Difference” is was based on love. At a New York high school a teacher presented each of her students with a blue ribbon that read “ Who you are makes a difference” . She called each student one by one to the front and gave them the blue ribbon on their t-shirt. She gave each student 3 extra ribbons, and told them that they had a task to do and had out a ribbon to whom ever they feel who fit best. Then give that person with the ribbon the extra ones that are left over, to hand out to another person, then the other person to another. After this process, they were to report back in a week and explain what happened. So this kid in her class, went over to a junior committee and gave him the ribbon explained to him what it meant, and told him to do the same steps. He said, once you’re done let me know what happened and how this improved your life or society in anyway. Then, the junior executive went to his boss and asked him if it was okay if he placed the blue ribbon on his shirt above his heart. The boss was surprised since he was known as a grouchy boss. He was pleased to receive something so special. As he drove home with the ribbon, he was thinking about who would be the next person honored. When he went into his house he called his son and told him, “ son something incredible happened to day, a junior committee honored me with this blue ribbon and gave me this extra for me to honor someone else with, who I think really deserves this”. Then he continued, “ so as I was on my way home I was thinking about who the next person would be, and I thought about you”. He apologized for yelling at him most of the time when he sees him. Water began to pour out of his son’s eyes. He couldn’t stop, then he spoke up and said, “ dad I was thinking about committing suicide tonight, because I thought I wasn’t important to you, but now that this happened I won’t have to take away my life”. One thing I liked about this story was the assignment the teacher gave out to them I thought it was a good idea. Another thing I found interesting was when the boss gave his son the blue ribbon, since he doesn’t really show so much love to him, he made him feel better and sowed him that he cared. A thing I learned after reading this short story was that, it is important to show love to those who are around you, because you may never know how bad you area really hurting them inside.

- My first kiss and them some
- This girl named Mary Jane was very shy. She started going out with a guy they had been going out for like six months and practically did nothing. They just saw movies and watched T.V. Both of them wanted to kiss each other so bad but none of them had the courage. Then one day he tried to kiss her but she blocked him then he tried to kiss her again and again she blocked him. Then finally when he was leaving they were at the door. She asked him if he was going to kiss her and he said he was and when he was about to she smiled and he kissed her teeth. Then when she went to college she stopped being so shy. She saw him at a bar and went up to him and kissed him. After they finished he looked at her and got the girl next to her and said “ Mary Jane meet my wife.”
- I think this story is very funny because even though they both wanted to kiss so bad none of them had the courage. And after she got the courage and kissed him she found out he already married.
- An interesting thing I found out about this is that its better to do some thing now than later. Because later you might not have the chance.
*The Challenge of Toddlers
Starting to walk at ten months is unusual. Most children wait until they’re 12 to 14 months old, and some are even older when they take those first steps. If you're nervous because your 17 month old son isn't walking yet, talk with your doctor. This book is all about helping teen parents cope with their toddlers first years. Your child will probably cruise from one piece of furniture to another. When he finally walks, his balance and coordination wont be well developed. Talking means jabbering with your toddler. They may say their first word about the time of their first birthday. I think this book would come in handy, if you are a teen parent.

+On Love; “Little Lost Dog”
This morning I read a story on a little boy who lost his little beagle dog. His dog was missing for about a week and his mother was starting to lose hope that his dog was still alive. The little boy’s family lived somewhere where it snowed, so the thought of his dog surviving the weather was disappointing. But the little boy never lost hope, his faith in God helped him through the search. Everyday after school he go out in the snow and search for his dog. And everyday he would come home without his missing dog. The little boy’s mother tried to convince him that he could go and adopt another dog but she knew he wouldn’t agree to another dog. He would always tell her that he had a feeling that his dog was alive and waiting for him, that God is telling him not to lose faith, & he didn’t. One day after school, he went out again to search for his dog and he found him. When his mom came home and saw the little look his dog gave her son, she saw the innocent faith that had sustained him through all those days, the trust that his owner would come.
+My favorite part of the story is how despite what everyone else thought, he continued to believe in what his prayers were telling him. He didn’t care how he looked, he followed his gut feeling… & found his dog.

"Long Road Ahead"
The story I read today is about a girl named Maria.Maria is just returning from Michigan with the lacrosse team.When she arrives her mom was still not there for her and so her friend's mother waited with her.When her mom arrives Maria saw her mom's expression and asked her what was wrong.Then Maria's mom told her that her dad had a massive heart attack and has died.Right after the news Maria felt an emptyness and she felt really isolated without her father.She also thoght life would be more difficult and she felt robbed of her innocence and identity.Little by little with the help of her family she was able to move on and get on with life.As tragic as the loss of her father was she was able to move on and realize to not take life for granted.
I feel this story was really sad because just by thinking my father died I would feel depressed.I don't think I would be as strong as Maria because I don't have support from my famaly.Hopefully my father dies in his sleep not from a heartattack.

Summary: This book talks about how SEX is the most fulfilling in life experiences. It talks about how everyone could protect themselves when they have sex with their partner. For people that have sex and think that they might be pregnant there are symptoms of two types of pregnancy and they are ectopic which can grow not in right place of the body, there could be complications with other parts of the body. There are many things that can protect you from getting pregnant:condom,female condom, birth control pills, the patch, the ring, Depo-Provera. All of this helps the female to be protected from sperm going into the vagina.women can still get pregnant when is the time of the month. But its easier for them to get diseases. what I think is that women should just protect themselves all the time they have sex.
Coping With Death and Grief -
In this book I read about a girl named Julie and how she had to move from her house. She has only been at the new house for a month and she still doesnt feel like she is at home. She felt so lonely even though she was in a crowd of people. Every one was in a hurry to get home but Julie wasn't. Julie was sad because she saw some girls having fun and it reminded her of her friend. She is worried that the people there wont like her and that they will think that she is stupid. She felt that by leaving her house she had to give up many things she really cared about. She felt sad and felt that it was never going to go away. when she got home she went straight to her room. She wrote to her friend Amy because she was feeling sad. And that is all i read. I feel sorry for this girl because she is lonely.
