-Chicken soup for the pet lovers soul
-Pet love
-In this story I read about how pets know how you feel. There was this woman that all her life she has lived with pets. She was married and had two dogs. Her husbands name was Allen she has been married to him for 18 years. When he died her dogs knew how she felt and never left her side. She was able to hide her grief around her family but not with them. On them she let out all her tears and her grief. With them she was able to get ahead and move on with her life.
-In this story I learned about the love that pets can give. Your pets will never leave you and always make you stronger
Today I read a different book called Love Love Love. It was written by Susan Polis Shutz. It’s a poetry book with a variety of love poems. Some of which are pretty good. I have a few favorites. One is about how I’m not perfect but I will stick by your side through thick and thin. That’s my favorite because I can relate to it because me and my boyfriend fight so much and yet he is still there. I have my own issues and he deals with them. Just like I deal with his. Were both not perfect by a long shot and yet here we are trying to make it work. I like this book very much. I think it’s a good poetry book that many can relate to. Its not too complicated or to hard to read. The fact that intersts me in this book is that the first page of the book has a great poem that I can relate to very well to me and my man.

Title: Rome
In the book I was reading I learned that Rome is the capital of Italy. Also that Rome is known for its beauty and rich culture. Over time people all over The Roman Empire spoke languages based on Latin. Today these different Roman languages are called Romance languages. They include French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. Long ago in a large city like Rome most families lived in one- room apartments. Back then if you were a boy you wouldn’t wear pants you would wear long shirts instead.
Reflection: I think that Rome had a lot of rules back then.
I feel the language the Romans speak is interesting. I would like to learn the language.
Interesting Fact: Long ago baths built by the emperors were the biggest and best. The biggest could hold as many as 3,000 people. The baths were so large that it would take weeks to heat them.
"Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul III" by various authors
The short story I read today was different. It was from a different book. It was called "Sometimes Things are Never the Same." I didn't get far into the story but I got a few details. The main character is discussing her friends. She talks about her best friend, Michelle, and how growing up in school slowly drifted them apart. She said that they had been through some obstacles but their friendship got stronger. The author said how she was the "popular" one. She talked about how her friend Michelle was not accepted by the author's friends, that she wasn't cool enough.
To sum it all up, they were two good friends trying to stay together in a rough school. I just start this story but i like it already. I think the two characters will get through these obstacles.
♥ Chicken Soup for the Soul
♥ A Story for Valentine’s Day
♥ This morning I read a story on an ordinary couple named Larry & Jo Ann, that lived an ordinary life, had ordinary problems, and ordinary lifestyles… until one day. One day everything changed, and this change started with Larry’s behavior. All of sudden Larry changed his whole personality, at home and at work. First, Larry decided to thank his wife Jo Ann for always filling up his drawer with sock and clean underwear for all the years. Second, Larry complimented Jo Ann on dinner and offered to wash the dishes. Every time he complimented her, he would always finish by telling her that she was appreciated. Jo Ann didn’t know how to react to his sudden behavior but she beginning to like it. Jo Ann found herself feeling happy other than blue. Even their children saw a dramatic difference in their dad, but they liked it. Jo Ann’s step was now a little lighter, her self-confidence higher and once in a while she hummed. That would be the end of the story except one day another most extraordinary even took place. “Larry,” she said, “I want to thank you for going to work and providing for us all these years. I don’t think I’ve ever told you how much I appreciate it.” They lived happily ever after. =]
♥ My favorite part of this story was how his sudden change of behavior is still a mystery.
Book Title: Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul
Title: Soul Mates
Today’ s short story I read about was based on relationships. The day Mike and his wife firs met was at their friends party when they where 11 and 12. their eyes first met on a porch at their friends house meanwhile at the party. As hours past and night came in they found themselves in a long conversation between the two. Separate from the others, the commotion, and drama. After the day they had past together talking about each other, and getting to know one another. They got together, but then later broke up after a month full of confusion they separated. Although they were separate, they both hung out in the same group. So they would always see each other. And would eventually talk as friends. They would both go through things like ex-girlfriends and boyfriends. Broke hearts and crying over stupid boys. But her mother would always tell her, that she would end up with Mike. That he was a good guy, and besides that he always some how seemed to come up into her conversations. After days past and he went away to Mexico for a Spanish program, that when she had really realized that she really did miss him and spending time together. As he came back from his trip he went to go visit her, and that’s when they realized that they were really meant for each other. That’s when they finally decided to actually consider them selves a couple. So then they spread their news and people weren’t so surprised but actually, said “finally.” One thing I liked about this story that its shows that there really is such thing as soul mates something that I never really believed in. What I learned about this story is that if someone really likes you or is meant to stay together with you, you’ll always find them by your side.
*East Asia
With the help of a water buffalo, a farmer prepares rice paddies for planting. Rice is a staple, a basic product, for more than half the world’s people. About 90 percent of this crop is grown in Asia, and almost all of it is eaten there. Lowland rain forests are usually found in areas up to 3,000 feet above sea level. Most trees here are broad-leafed evergreens, which remain leafy and green all year long. The tops of tall trees grow so close together that little sunlight breaks through to the forest floor. I wouldn’t go to East Asia because of the typhoons.
Title: 1001 Facts About The Human Body
Today I read about muscle action. I read that muscles can only pull not push. The nerve signals from the brain instruct which muscle fibers to contract and when. When a person picks up a weight muscle fibers contract to produce a steady pull it’s called (isotonic contraction). To hold the weight steady once it has been picked up, muscle fibers stay the same length to produce tension which is called (isometric contraction). Muscles work in pairs to move joints to raise the lower arm, the biceps muscle contracts while the triceps muscle relaxes. One interesting fact I learned is that the contracting muscle is known as the agoinst.
I read about a tiger and a kid named rob. Well it all started when he went to the Kentucky star motel, when all of a sudden he goes to the back of the Kentucky star motel and went wondering off to the woods and found out about the tiger. Then he thought that finding the tiger was good luck. He found the tiger at a old Beauchamp gas station all boarded up and broken down and next to it was the tiger in the cage. he was scared that if he stared to long the tiger would disappear. he didn’t even remember about the funeral that he was supposed to attend when his mom passed away.
I think the boy was very selfish and cruel.
Also he is very hysterical and shocking kid for his age.
I think the kid is going to end up dying for what kind of person he is.
I learned the true fact for what I was reading is that tigers have black and orange yellowish stripes.
Forever Odd by Dean Koontz
Thre part I read today wasn't really intresting.Mostly the main character,Odd was inside the house and describing how it looked like. Also he revealed a little more about himself.Odd said he didn't like to leave places behind him unsearched. He would like to look in all the rooms and make sure nobody is there.Anyway he looked in all the rooms and found nobody in them. Now he's worried because Danny,Dr.Jessup's son is missing.Odd also called chief Porter and told him the situation and chief Porter sended a couple of police units.
The part I read today was alright.I think this book is getting intresting becuse it gives a lot of details. Also you have to use your imagination so you can get a clearer idea of what you're reading.
The things we worry about the most are never the things that bite us.

Title: Chicken Soup for Teenage Soul
Section: Dear girl
in this story , its just almost like the one dear boy. In this one it talks about the man seeking a women of his true love. The man wants the lady to know what a man would expect for his lover to do for him, he wants a women that could cook, do something if he ask her to do it. He also wants her to know the things he likes, what he like to do, what’s his favorites. He basically wants a women that he could talk to about anything, and he wants to be able to trust her, like she wont go out and cheat on him. The man who waiting for his true love feels that she wont love him for who he is and that she might not feel the way she say she feels for him. He also wants the lady to show and give him the attention he needs. I liked this because there aren’t that many men who wants someone to love them, also I like the fact that he doesn’t want to be hurt by the way he says he love. I learned that many men are not the same there are different types. I also learned that men have sensitive ways and that in their hearts there jus like women…well some.
Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul:
In this book I am reading a section called “Soul Mates”. In this book I read about a lady that says she found her true love, her husband. She met him when she was 11 and he was 12 years old. They started talking and some days later they were going out. They lived close to each other had the same friends and liked the same things. They broke up. As time passed she went out with different guys and broke up with them. Her mom would always tell her to not worry about these other guys that she was going to end up with Mike Leb. The guy she met when she was 11. She would shriek never at the idea of ending up with him. By the time she was in high school she had all these new cute guys. Mike Leb was dating her best friend. She didn’t really care but she was just curious why he was dating her. By the summer they spent more time together. That summer Mike left for Mexico. When he was over there she realized that she really missed him. When he returned he visited her. That moment she realized that they were meant to be together. Mike then told his girlfriend that he couldn’t with her. They kept their relationship a secret. Then after a while they told their friends and family about their relationship. They said finally. After that They graduated high school and they married. Now 25 years later they are still married and they are happy with children they were soul mates after all. I really like this story I like the idea that people are meant to be together. I think that it shows many people soul mates are possible. Not everyone might find their soul mate but it is comforting to know that he or she is out there.
