Chicken Noodle Soup for the Teenage soul
He Finally Said, “I love you”
This story is kind of sad at first cause she was saying that she said I love you at first but he never said it back. Then as they were standing together he seem kind of nervous like he was about to faint. And then he finally just said it.
This was a very short story but a very good story about a young couple that love each other but just didn’t know how to say it but in the end the guy stood up and just said it.

♥This morning I read a short story in Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul, titled “Bible.” It was about a young man that was about to graduate from high school. In his neighborhood, it was tradition to receive a brand new car the day before his graduation. So once the eve of his graduation came, he expected no less than his new car. His father called him down to their living room to give hi his gift, finally. His father then handed him a wrapped up Bible. His son was furious, slammed the Bible down on the floor, and never saw his father again. The only thing that sent him back home was when his father had passed away. He decided to look through some of his father’s possessions and found the Bible his father gave to him. Once he opened it to the first page there was a receipt with the exact amount of the car he wanted. All along he really had received his car… the story ended without telling if he had felt guilty or not but I’m assuming he did.
♥I don’t have a favorite part in this story. The whole thing just makes me want to think twice and become more grateful. <33

"Race" by Bart Schneider
A book of short stories

In this part of the story, Susan is talking about her mom’s life experience. She said how her mom always used to teach her how to clean. Her mom always told her do it on her knees but it has to be hard work. She talked about how her mother’s mother died when she was ten. She explained that her mother’s mother married the nurse that was watching her while she was sick. Her mom immigrated to Canada where her step-mom tried to marry her off to a pig farmer. She didn’t marry the guy, but did move in elsewhere with a Canadian family. Susan’s mom finally moved to southern California with her family but never slept in their house. I like this story because it is a true explanation of somebody’s life. I think that Susan did learn a lot from her mother when she was young.

In Today’s read I read of Napoleon in an article entitled Emperor in Exile in the book Great Mysteries of the Past. It began with a suspicious death. Three weeks before Napoleons death he wrote in his will that he was murdered by the English that imprisoned him in the island of Saint Elena. They sent over people from the government to investigate why he had died and they all after much argument agreed that the most probable case was death by a tumor. Many other people thought that he was actually murdered by one of the people hired to take care of him during his exile in the island. He was exiled to the island because of his lose against the Russians he later returned and lost again in the battle of Waterloo and sent again to exile. Napoleon died convinced that he was being poisoned by Lowe the governor of Saint Helena.
In this read I found out how Napoleon died and the turmoil that lay behind the fact that he died.
The most interesting fact is that it happened and we still do not know what truly happened.

-Chicken soup for the teenage soul
-Unconditional mom
-This story is about the love of a mom and a daughter. The daughter is a tomboy that doesn’t care about anything. Her mother had her when she was 38 years old. She would always tell her that she has been waiting all her life for her. And the daughter replies that why does she care about her. Her mother started to believe that she really meant it. She would sneak out of the house at the middle of the night. She has hooked on drugs, she said that she would smoke and take pills. Then she said that she tried to suicide herself. She threw herself at a car going at 80 miles per hour. She spent a couple of months in the resort which was her name for the hospital. She would ask her mom why she still loved her. Her mom would tell her that she doesn’t know why. She says that she is her daughter and she is her mom.
-This story is pretty good. It made me realize to appreciate my mom. To be a good boy and not hide my feelings.
-One interesting thing that I learned is that no one can love more than your mother. It showed me to not hide my feelings and talk to my mom.

Section title: First love summary: There were two couple that were never boyfriend and girlfriend. But they would always flirt with each other all the time they would even go out to the movies but never went out well for the girl she was the one who started to have feeling for him. The guy didn’t realized that he like her too. But they would tell each other how the felt because they thought that they didn’t like each other that they both had different crushes but it was actually both liking each other. To me this has happened to me but I never felt something for the guy he was the one who really like me but I couldn’t see him in that way because he was like my best friend I would tell him almost everything about anything. But once he confess that he really liked me and if I was ever going to give him a chance for us to be together but I said that it was better for us to be friends.
