Title: Rome
Section: City Living
In this short story, I read that the ancient Rome had their buildings made out of wood, and their people were scared to cook and having fire in their homes. The also would eat outside, or they go by food and eat or they eat out at restaurants. The rich people of the Rome had large doors that open into large space or atrium. Their atrium had an opening to the sky and a pool. But not only did they have that but they also had very few pieces of furniture, and if they did it was decorated with art, which the art was carved elephants. As of today they live in apartments that’s made of stone, and under many apartments there are still shops underneath. I learned that most Roman families lived in just one room. And the buildings were three to five stories high. I also learned that under the buildings there stayed small shops. I liked the fact that they had a place to stay with furniture. I also liked the fact that they still had lots of food to feed there family, and they always had food no matter what the problem was.

In the CNN video I learned that a new machine can make water out of thin air. President Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin might have found some middle ground on missile defense. There's been tension between the U.S. and Russia on the issue. I learned that in the Middle East the Persian Gulf has been suffering through one of the worst tropical storms in decades. A cyclone, which is what hurricanes are called in the Indian Ocean, has been pounding this region. More than 25 people are dead and another 26 have been reported missing after the powerful storm roared through parts of Oman and Iran. Even after it was downgraded to a tropical depression, authorities warned people to steer clear of the shore to be safe. For 40 cents per gallon, the air-to-water process can be more cost efficient than trucking in bottled water. We can make water out of air and because of this technology, the water itself is very pure. I thought that this video was interesting, the air-to-water process trip me out.

President Bush and Vladimir Putin decide to come to terms and join together. FBI found 90 Thousand dollars in Jeffersons freezer. Most of the money is coming from bribes. Supposedly Jefferson is innocent. The persian gulf is experiencing one of the worst tropical storms. Crocodile steve irwin has many people all over the world recognizing him. A new machine that can create fresh clean air from air. 8 Sets of twins are in the graduation year of '07. In Red Bluff, California. I think the new invention is really cool. It will help so many more people, especially at war. And the twin thing is pretty interesting.

President Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin might have found some middle ground on missile defense. There's been tension between the U.S. and Russia on the issue. Russian leader Vladimir Putin offered a proposal to end his heated standoff with President Bush over U.S. plans to build a missile defense system in eastern Europe, considered a welcome step to repairing U.S.-Russian relations. Steve Irwin was killed on September 4 doing what he loved. He was working at Australia's Great Barrier Reef, taping what he described as a "couple of soft stories for a new TV show." That's when he encountered a stingray. The animal's barb struck him in the chest, piercing his heart. And despite their quick work, rescuers were unable to resuscitate him. Funerals and remembrance ceremonies across the world were a testament to how much the zoologist and TV host was loved. FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, says that magic act could be a big help when disaster strikes. Eric English of WPTV reports on an invention that squeezes the sky to turn humidity into water. in California theres a "twin bill." You might do a double take when you see this group of graduates. That's because 8 sets of twins -- 8 sets! -- are in Red Bluff High School's Class of '07! Three identical, 5 fraternal and 16 total -- in a class of just 330. I think it is cool how they could make water by using the humidity in the air, it could save a lot of people and we wont have to woory about a drought.

Bush and Putin found a new development in missle defense. Russian leader headed a proposal for U.S. Russian defenses. Putin wanted to use an old radio system to take away attention of media. Putin says there will be no more aiming arsenals at Europe. Cold War will be replaced with the summer war.
The war in Iraq got most sight in Sunday’s debate. In Washington, Will Jefferson got charged with 16 crimes. Jefferson’s lawyer says he’s innocent. Persian Gulf is suffering from the worst tropical storm in decades. Advisory says to steer clear of the shore to be safe. The crocodile hunter had a big impact around the world. He was taking a story when a stingray stabbed him in the heart and killed him. Humidity is moisture in air. The new Magic Act invention sucks humid air into a machine to make water. Air to water is what it was called.

A missile defense plan brought tension between Russia and the United States to an end. This plan brought Vladimir Putin and President Bush together. There has been some issues between the United States and Russia on the missile defense plan prior to them making up their decision. President Bush put 10 interceptor radars in Poland. New Hampshire hosted two presidential debates this week. Candidates agreed on making sure every American got health insurance. On Tuesday it was the republicans to discuss issues and they mainly focused on immigration. Congress man William Jefferson is being charged with 16 charges. In 2005, the FBI found 90thousand dollars in one of Jefferson's homes. The FBI believes that the money they found was all from half a million dollars in bribes. In the middle east the Persian gulf has been suffering from one of the worst tropical storms in decades. A cyclone killed about 25 people and 26 are missing. The crocodile hunter’s death was one of the top stories of the year. Steve Erwin died on September 4th from a stingray’s barb to the heart. There is a machine that gets air from the sky to get water. David Murphy said that his company is able to get a thousand gallons of water from thin air. There are 8 sets of twins graduating from a high school. They are apart of Red Bluff’s class of 2007. Red Bluff is in California.

3 sentence reflection:
I thought that it was very interesting on the fact that Steve Irwin’s death had a big impact on people.I also thought that it was scandalous how congress people take money to protect someone or something that committed a crime.
I also think that money makes the world go round.

Interesting Fact:
Something that I thought was very interesting was that you can make water mainly from getting air.

Missile defense system, Tension between U.S. and Russia, Cause they corporate with President Bush with Russian terms. The conversation changed from talking about the missiles to a summer trip pretty random.
The war In Iraq is the main topic in the boards meeting. They just want every American has health insurance
.Persian gulf is being pounded by a cyclone there labeling it a tropical depression. Many lives were lost in this region.
The top story of the school year was about Steve Irwin’s death. It happen September 4, 2006 when he encountered a string ray. It stung him in the chest and they couldn’t get him to a paramedic in time.
Make water out of thin air turns by taking humidity and into it into water. They use a salty sub cense to suck the moisture out the air.
8 sets of twins in one High School. In a small town, Red Bluff High School had a total of 8 sets of twin graduating the year of 07. 16 student in all they blamed it on something in the water but was simply coincidence.
President Bush is not very good with interviews like America cares what he’s doing on his vacation when were worried about building a missile for a countries. Steve Irwin is not that important to me I didn’t care for his show but it was a sad thing. And the 8 sets of twins that was crazy that you could have so many at once.
